SIMOPRIME A4-24 KV
Description
The SIMOPRIME A4 is a type-tested switchgear for indoor installation according to IEC 62271-200 and VDE 0671-200.
Its specification is:
- Loss of service continuity category: LSC 2B (1)
- Partition class: PM (2)
- Internal arc Classification: IAC A FLR (3)
- Arc duration: 1 or 0.1 s
- Maximum ratings: 24 kV / 25 kA / 2500 A
- Uses: all transformer and switching substations
Descriptions:
- IEC defines LSC as “the possibility to keep other high-voltage compartments and/or functional units, energized when opening an accessible high-voltage compartment”. LSC 2B is applicable in withdrawable switchgears which the main switching device is independent of other compartments and can be accessed when other parts are live.
- to IEC, PM portion category means dividing the switchgear to separated compartments.
- A= Accessibility type A. This means accessibility restricted to the authorized personnel only. Distance of indicators 300 mm from enclosure is acceptable.
FLR = Access from the front (F = “front”), the sides (L= “lateral”) and the rear (R = rear).
